<br>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Ok lets begin this belated post with a bit of a long story!
(ok hopefully not to long ! I am dyslexic and I like to ramble though). <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Why I believe I think my project has legs?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Hasbro and Takara have been releasing transformable toys
called Transformers since 1984, destroying their original competitors (the go
bots) not by a better product but by the addition of relatable and tangible character
line : releasing not only comic books, but going to the extent of releasing a
Cartoon TV series, designed specifically to sell toys. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>A toy line that
survives 30 years is pretty god dammed special or incredibly intelligent, Hasbro
and takra have been very intelligent in the decisions that they have made along
the years, they have been through the list of transformers that they know work
and removed the ones that don’t.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">1984 G1 The introduction to the original toy line deceptions
and Autobots (the bad guys are planes – the good guys are mostly ground vehicles)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">1986 G1 The movie everyone loves transformers, lets somehow
find an excuse to add more caricatures whilst removing some of the least
popular toys – Transformers the movie is released with a hug reboot and
addition of new caricatures.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">G2 Even more caricatures <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Beast machines/ wars– holly hell everyone loves animals now – but people
still like our original caricatures, what do we do – lets keep them but make
the, into transformable dinosaurs and other animals boys love. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">2001 – 2006 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>quick and easy to animate tv series are released multiple different shows, that introduce caricatures left right and center
keeping the Target market hooked on what may be coming next. These Toy lines were
not as successful as they were full of repaints and unknown caricatures, and silly gimmicks (gimmicks are great but make the actual toy the most important factor).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">2007 transformers the movie, Michael bay took his machete to
the franchise and stuck it in good, but the toy line and movies were so successful,
why? Math!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>5 – 11 year olds are the target consumers (well their parents) for transformers. The original line was produced in 1984, a five year old child
would have been 33 years old In 2007when the first movie was released, naustalga is the mother of all sales! the average age
of parents is 25 years old meaning 8 year old boys and girls were now being introduction to a toy line, Nostalgia can now have a huge effect on what
parents buy their children, or are willing too put up with at the cinema with their children– thus the toy line is given a new breath and a new
clientele. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Children 5 - 11 always there<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Collectors 11 years plus always there<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Nostalgic parents 24 years + brand new market <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Nostalgic collectors 24 years + brand new market </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">What does this mean for the toy line, we want our original caricatures
back – because they are selling better than brownies in the OSU dorms!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">And Hasbro and Takara know it, releasing 4 massive toy lines
since the movie. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Transformers animated – all original g1 caricatures yes stylized but in essence incredibly sellable to all market audiences<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Transformers generations – a celebration to collectors releasing
better tooled and molded toys of their bestselling toys throughout the life
span - better toys equals brand devotion. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Transformers thrilling thirty <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>- quite literally producing toys that Hasbro know
original collectors and nostalgic collectors / nostalgic parents<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>have been asking for throughout the life span
of the toy line <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Finally the latest ploy from hasbro and Takara, transformers combiner wars, not a single
caricature has been released so far that is not from the original g1 or g2 line
– and toys are selling everywhere.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">What is my plan ? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">To pitch a line of transformers – transformers origins <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">why? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">We can take nostalgic fan favorite caricatures and put an interpretation
on what an earlier caricature might have been like, this creates two dimensions: the introduction of fun more youthful caricatures appealing to hasbro a target audience 5- 11 year olds as well as allowing
nostalgic collectors, collectors and nostalgic parents to relate to the
product. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">As a line of toys it will allow designers to pick and
choose where they think the caricature came from Cybertron (dose the design
require a more alien appearance), earth (is the design a simpler, more g1
body line) or even complete different series beast wars (was this caricature simply from beast wars planet and has found their way to earth or cybertron?) . <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So right now lets focus on my caricature, Kup first
introduced in 1986 Kup is a grumpy old cybertron warrior – full of war stories
and one of primes go to soldiers for advice, or to lead a division of his armada. A front line man but knows when to stay back and lead his men, never putting himself or other autobots in danger.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><br>
my interpretation – Kup is the perfect solider 35 year old physique, fast quick
intelligent not bulky and a fast decision maker, meets his soon to be sidekick
Hot rod in a recruitment tanning session that kup is leading <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>- based on cybertron – his alternative mode
will contain design features taken from the original design / caricature,
aspects from the cybertronian toy line, darker sports vehicles and militarized
scout based vehicles in production <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>today. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
</div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">oK I have made some serious changes to my original concept
and I will show you the processes I have been through<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to show you where I am now. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I </span><br>
<br>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">will go through stages 1 – 4 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is my pleasures to be reviewing a fellow Masters Students
work, Claire Elyce Wiedman, now in her second year I have witnessed Claire’s
Photography work develop from what can be considered a “normal” topic that is
landscape – to present where she is trying to uncover the unconscious state
using experimental techniques on film.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Beginning her thesis focusing her work on the issue that is
the “commodification of nature” taking a stance at the snap happy tourists that
replace the experience of nature with a photograph, condemning their experience
to be something that can be hung on a wall at a later date.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">To achieve this Clair used her photography that was taken
over a seven month road trip, traveling across the country to the National
state parks; meticulously curating and then splicing her imagery together; creating
seamless landscapes that no longer represent any one singular place, but humans
inability to not just sit back and really smell the roses. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">To further this feeling of detraction from the original
imagery, Claire experimented printed her work on transparent material, hanging
the finished work in skewed shapes and shocking the viewer by blasting powerful
light across the face of the imagery, adding yet another level of obscurity to
this work.<br />
It is my pleasure to say that Claire’s experimenting days are not over – a
mixture of photographer, curator and experimental scientists have been evolving
and progressing together.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Clair’s next body of work / experiment was to capture the
Sublime, but with a twist Claire relinquished her hand from the camera, instead
<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>using a mounted go pro, and her own
dogs, experimented to see if they would be able to unwittingly pull back the
curtain on the “real” world as we experience it and expose the sublime.
Experimenting with the equipment settings Claire was able to take the
experiences of the dogs and their everyday movements developing what could have
been an ordinary image, and expose a new layer we could call the sublime.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The end result was a set of five images none altered from
their original, that have an air of the moment and altered reality – shot in
black and white – and feeling like an unreplaceable experience captured on
camera.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I am extremely excited by Claire’s current body of work
emerging; setting the scene Claire is experimenting shooting multiple images
over expired film whilst in the moment of unconscious being between sleep and
being awake; attempting to shoot the unconscious state.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Claire’s work normally stems from vast topics and ends with
a form of experimentation and I am glad to see that this time the two have
begun in tangent, allowing her work to constantly evolve as both an experiment and
an art piece.<br /> This tangent has allowed me and other MFA students to glimpse the befginings of the end product; which
seems to be producing beautiful imagery ranging from landscapes – sill life’s and everything inbetween.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">This looks to be a truly stunning exhibition of both camera
experimentations and a view of the sublime and I urge everyone to come to the
CCAD MFA Show to find out how this photographer / experimenters work ends
up.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">

So lets pretend like Im a blogger</h2>
<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Every day I update my blog and allow people to view my
thinking process – a blog that this is full of useful information that can tell
other people what im doing, instead of being a weird none social media hermit.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Ok so I shall begin with an apology for basically not up
loading anything for several months (no I don’t only make lamps).</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><o:p></o:p></span><br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So after last semester I was left in a weird limbo – not being
entirely sure what I should be doing or really knowing where my project was
heading / whether I had taken any appropriate steps during my MFA course.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">
</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">
</span><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So lets re-wind three weeks ago, after a discussion with my
new Tutor Thom Gattis, I have decided to leave some aspects of my work on the
back burner (keeping them in mind but perhaps trying not to focus on them),
whilst saying that some aspects of the design are conceptually sound and finalized.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
</div>
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dsIGT9VhWW0/UvuOexOvf2I/AAAAAAAAAVA/5eux1vbeRdw/s1600/IMG_6363.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dsIGT9VhWW0/UvuOexOvf2I/AAAAAAAAAVA/5eux1vbeRdw/s1600/IMG_6363.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The poly morph handle is certainly one aspect of the design
that Appears to be at a stage where although needing tweaking- I am accepting
that the design has sound and compelling reasoning to exist.<br />
And after doing finalizing research with my faithful Model Nevin, I was able to
prove that the polymorph would even allow a user with a messed up broken
Phalanx finger to create a personalized handle.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">How ever I feel that the large loop at the top although
working is something that needs to be left behind (for the begging re design
process at least),<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>there is definite evidence
that the sliding motion relives friction and pain, but the design is not ready
and needs to be re considered / adjusted.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uwePkVRXKrc/UvuOiak7LAI/AAAAAAAAAVo/kurKH2WLwEM/s1600/PRINT+THIS+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uwePkVRXKrc/UvuOiak7LAI/AAAAAAAAAVo/kurKH2WLwEM/s1600/PRINT+THIS+4.jpg" height="512" width="640" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IpYJtGLEFJU/UvuOetcqwKI/AAAAAAAAAU4/IGd1BsYcgTE/s1600/IMG_6362.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IpYJtGLEFJU/UvuOetcqwKI/AAAAAAAAAU4/IGd1BsYcgTE/s1600/IMG_6362.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I am also quite annoyed that I was not able to create a
fully working model (even though I attempted several time – and failed multiple
times at molding a working crutch) – which Is probably another reason I am leaving
this section of the design for a while<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ecQ4mLoXgXI/UvuOe34OtLI/AAAAAAAAAU8/Un5rClJ2wbI/s1600/IMG_6361.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ecQ4mLoXgXI/UvuOe34OtLI/AAAAAAAAAU8/Un5rClJ2wbI/s1600/IMG_6361.JPG" height="425" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So where am I at, I think that I need to really reconsider
the issues with crutches and as such I am going to be taking a range of people
for the 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">Th</span> percentile female -<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>the 95<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> percentile Male, and try to discover all of the
faults with crutches so I can consider a “complete” re design.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TUWu5SKYMc8/UvuOmtT2OhI/AAAAAAAAAWI/HsLmEeySqBQ/s1600/russ+side.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TUWu5SKYMc8/UvuOmtT2OhI/AAAAAAAAAWI/HsLmEeySqBQ/s1600/russ+side.jpg" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">To do this I obviously need to have some footage (so that I
can analyses peoples interactions with crutches – my set and a normal set) so
that I can asses all the issues.<br />
unfortunately finding people with a broken leg even with snow and ice every
where is hard so I have developed a device that straps on to the font of the
leg and foot and causes the wearer to feel like they are wearing a cast up ankle.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zjGMvTRpzg4/UvuOgPVSALI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/eiHYyNZ1AgU/s1600/IMG_6366.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zjGMvTRpzg4/UvuOgPVSALI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/eiHYyNZ1AgU/s1600/IMG_6366.JPG" height="640" width="426" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ec7gC2p0XuM/UvuOgNnWRuI/AAAAAAAAAVU/lzKaPKT3sjs/s1600/IMG_6365.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ec7gC2p0XuM/UvuOgNnWRuI/AAAAAAAAAVU/lzKaPKT3sjs/s1600/IMG_6365.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I have some basic footage already (just to prove that the
broken leg device works), but for right now the scenarios I want to shoot
people in are as follows:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking in a straight Line.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking round a set of obstacles (most likely cones)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking in a crowded environment (I will probably make some cardboard
cut out dummies)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking up and down hill<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking up and down stairs<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Opening a door<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Walking outside (whilst it is still icy)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Carrying a back pack / carrier bag<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">And then repeat the test with a person wearing winter
clothing.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">I think I need a wide demography: tall, short, muscular,
larger, male female, approximately 10 – 15 people.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">And then I guess the re design will begin.<br />
<br />
I have some footage which I will show during class today and if there are any ideas
you guys can help me with, or if anyone knows of a Physical therapist in
Columbus – (preferably inner city {I Only have a bike}) that wouldn’t mind
having a discussion / coffee with a slightly insane British designer that could
be useful <o:p></o:p></span></div>

LASER CUTTING</h2>
<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
LA WALKER (Oak plywood)</h3>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-92JKyAYUXtg/UidGvYOMHCI/AAAAAAAAARw/l-uw7GTI7Eo/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-92JKyAYUXtg/UidGvYOMHCI/AAAAAAAAARw/l-uw7GTI7Eo/s640/photo.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
So This is this the start of something magical ?</h3>
<br />
my first Laser cutting, and my first prototype of LA WALKER, .... problems, I hate Amazon, I am waiting on both my wingnuts and bolts and also the (Lamp kit) so it may be a while till this product is actually finished, but I am keeping up hope to be finished by the end of the week.<br />
<br />
but I am enjoying My GA and I haven't exploded and machines or injured myself yet (ah workshop injury's - fun times).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i1-v6M5vJ_U/UidwAuTLS7I/AAAAAAAAASA/iUC758xvj28/s1600/photo+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i1-v6M5vJ_U/UidwAuTLS7I/AAAAAAAAASA/iUC758xvj28/s640/photo+2.JPG" width="478" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
BUT WHEN YOU DO F%*CK UP!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now I agree I am stupid, but honestly I don't work in inches, so when I read 4th inch, I assumed that meant 1/4 of an inch which works out as 6.35mm, it dose not it works out as 5MM .... BLOODY INCHES AHHHHHHHH MM RULE.</div>
<br />
But the great thing about LA WALKER is that thankfully all its parts are very ........ Steam punk like .... so a bit of decoration for my bare studio .... Not such a waste after all.<br />
<br />

<h3 class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
WOOD GRAIN (moan)</h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I never was the good at rendering wood (I always seem to muck up the grain, I feel like I need a lesson in rendering wood grain!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think that LA WALKER will actually look rather imposing with a wood gain, so instead of fannying around with badly attempted wood grain I think it would be best to make a prototype.</div>

RE work Of lamp</h2>
<br />
I felt as if the light itself was not fully there yet, and needed a re work and a certain fine tuning:<br />
<br />
1) the actual head was way out of proportion with the body<br />
2) the legs were extremely ugly and lacked the same style with which the top proportion was stylized.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EQyWtsRkesc/UiQlVPALpzI/AAAAAAAAAQk/j8DYx1OztKE/s640/legs.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The light base has taken on a far better stylized and flowing form from before</div>
